    X10 and HS4

Will X10 support continue with HS4 as it does in HS3?
As every light switch in my house is x10 and has been since HS1, upgrading to Zee or Insteon would be prohibitive.

As has been stated a number of times already, HS3 plugins are supported in HS4 which means X10 is supported in HS4.
    HS 4.2.8.0: 2134 Devices 1252 Events
    Z-Wave 3.0.10.0: 133 Nodes on one Z-Net

Thank you. I had hoped that would be the case.
But X10 is not listed in in any of the compatibility tables I reviewed, nor is it in the table of Lighting technologies.
I have ordered the upgrade today.

The HS3 X10/CM15a plugins should work in HS4, and I will update them as needed if there are issues..
        Best regards,

+1 Even though I had assumed that the "all HS3 plugins would work, it is reassuring to see this affirmed.

Someone please send me a loaded gun if X-10 stopped working! LOL

Some of us old farts, have on the order of over 100+ devices or X-10 inter-device messages (i.e. OmniPro to another X-10 listener like HS1, or X-10 keypad, cheap, to trigger other events from the bedside, etc. ).

Of course X10 is not officially supported in HS3 and thanks to Mark it works so I imagine that situation won't change.

Same here, TI-103 and I wrote some of the code in the plugin that Rich sent to me, back in the (well, back in the 1.7 days) that Mark now has for the TI-103 portions. I guess he handed it off to Mark after I added the TI-103 support. (All that debugging screen levels and ignore house codes stuff is all mine). Format hasn't changed any at all from the source I have from way back then.

Gray hair is showing here I guess...

I just got finished replacing my last X10 switch tonight. Switched from ivory to white, what a pain this was. I'm amazed how long these cheap push button switches worked.

Agreed, I would say that over the last 20+ years, I've had to replace about 2 of them. One is still broke, but the triac shorted out in the on position. It's the one for the back porch side light, so I just put a yellow florescent bug CFL in it and it just burns constantly. I've only had to replace the bulb once in the last 10 years!

imma ToggleLinc 23890w 2 way switch guy... and have had tons in the house and slowly they were dying. I think due to putting LED bulbs on them... that is my guess...
but slowly replacing them with zwave toggle.
I have 4 in basement, 1 in kids bedroom, 1 in foyer so 6 more to replace.. then 2 of those ws467s...
