    Adding X10 devices

    Mike,
Thanks for keeping us supported with the X10 technology. FYI; I believe HST made a business strategy error by communicating to long-time supporters that they do not care about them.
Here is my issue; when I converted from HS3 to HS4 all X10 devices remained fully functional.
Recently I added a few X10 device (2 lamp + 1 appliance modules) and as per your instruction I only was able to add them with the CM15A plugin (I presently am using both CM15A and CM11A bridges).
All devices function the On/Off commends, the lamp modules do not respond to Dim commend, both from the tile buttons or event actions, while all of them are fully functional to commend from my HR12A remote (on the same house electrical supply phase as the bridges).

    2nd issue
In addition the presentation of the added modules in the tile view are exceptionally poor.
    The modules on CM15A are:

Your support is much appreciated and I am looking forward to a quick resolution to these 3 issues
1 -Not being able to choice the bridge.
    2 -No dimming functionality
3 -Tile presentation of the X10 devices

Let me know what I can do for you.
    Regards,
    Willem

    Hello Willem,

Thank you for your kind words and for your feedback on the X10 and CM15a plugins!

What OS are you running the plugins under: Windows or Linux?
Which versions of the plugins are you running?

    1) I discovered just this week that the X10 and CM15a plugins cannot be run at the same time under HS4! These are HS3 plugins that have been updated so that new devices can be added under HS4 (plus new config pages), and it appears that the links registered with HS for these new functions conflict between the two plugins. I will look into possible solutions for this.

    2) I am surprised to learn that you are seeing a dimming issue with the CM15a plugin as no other users have reported this as a problem (over several years). I will look into this.

    3) I will also look into why the CM15a plugin presents device controls differently than the X10 plugin.

Please understand that my business is keeping me exceptionally busy at the moment and I don't know how quickly I will be able to address these issues. I will do what I can and I ask for your patience in advance.

    Best regards,
    -Mark-

      Mike,
      Sorry for the slow response.
Below the data I should have included.
Keep in mind all the functions work with the X-10 plugin.
On/Off work with CM15A just Dim does not work from Slider AND event action settings.

If the inability of adding devices to the X-10 (CM11A) plugin is resolved, I can switch the few modules needed to the fully functioning plugin (X10)
Also keep in mind most of the "installed plugins" listed below have been turned off after switching to HS4
For testing, the only plugins active are: CM15A, X-10, Z-wave, JowiHue. MyQ and EasyTrigger.

Glad to hear your income producing activity is doing well.
Again, Thanks for all you are doing for the X10 users.
      Regards,
      Willem

        Willem,

Yes, please change to using the X10 plugin! It has been possible to add new X10 devices under HS4 since v.47 was released in Feb of 2020!
