  • X10 ERROR error in MSComm1_OnComm :Argument 'Start' must be greater than zero.

I've been seeing this error in the log every so often. What does it mean?

"X10 ERROR error in MSComm1_OnComm :Argument 'Start' must be greater than zero."

    Thanks,
    Mike

Does anything bad happen when this error shows up in the log? If not then I'd say you can ignore this for now. I'll add some debug code to the Ti103 section and include it in a future version.

It occurs by itself in the log, at least a few minutes after and before any other log entries. I have not noticed any unusual activity (lights flashing, smoke, fire, explosions) around the time of the log entries. Just the log entries, at random times, 7 yesterday, 12 so far today.

      Thanks,
      Mike

I would get 1 or so of these every once in a while when I was running .36. So I doubt it's something new in .39. I just ignored it since it was very infrequent.
I deployed .39 yesterday and have not seen this since/yet.

FWIW, I am now seeing this periodically as well with the TI103. No smoke, explosions, etc.. either. I hadn't seen this until I recently updated to the v3.0.0.40 beta. Nothing before that. I was running v3.0.0.36 prior to the update.

Thank you for the update. This is on my list but at a low priority since it does not appear to be causing any issues.
