Aeon Labs Minimote Programming via Set Configuration Parameters

Long Story short for what ever reason I can not get the minimote scene buttons to work according to aeon instructions. I did find this nifty document about programming the minimote by sending commands to it. I am not for sure exactly how to structure a configuration string to send it to from this document.

    https://doc.eedomus.com/files/Engineering%20Spec%20-%20Aeon%20Labs%20Minimote.pdf

I Did find on the homeseer forums about using the minimote such as https://forums.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=173235 but have not had any luck.

I can add it to homeseer, the all on and all off works but still cannot hold down scene button and get another device to pair to that button. Have tried homeseer hs-ws100+ as well as vision single relay.

    Thanks,

I think I discoverd my problem while watching logs while trying to add the mini mote as secondary controller. It is being added like it was included and set to scene mode. In order for it to control devices directly according to manual it needs to be in group mode. Homeseer keeps setting it back to scene mode and or including it instead of making it a secondary controller. Anyone have any ideas?

      oxey5000,

I'm a bit of a newbie to all of this, but this might help:
      https://aeotec.freshdesk.com/support...minimote-guide

In particular, in the section on Secondary Controllers:
Make your Decision, Parameter settings to set

Now you should make your decision, if you choose group mode, most likely you will not have to change any settings, but just in case, I will tell you the parameter settings that you need.

Group Mode Parameter 250 [1 byte dec]: 0

Scene Mode Parameter 250[1 byte dec]: 1

With regard to setting parameters, this might help too:
