There is a prototype now. The manufacturer will build it for us, but we need to see enough interest in it from our European customer before we go ahead and have it built. We would need a reserve list of at least 150 orders in order to make it economically feasible.

I believe the Z-Wave operates on 908Mhz in the US. Is the European version on this unlicenced frequency or will it be on the permitted 433Mhz?

According to their web site, the european devices operate at 868.42 Mhz.

Yes 868Mhz is licenced for the whole of Europe for low power devices - I forgot about that one as most devices seem to use 433Mhz.

The UK/European Zwave stuff is not at the same frequency as the US stuff. You will need the UK/European version of the USB interface. I will have those in in about 2 weeks.
