Manually exclude Z-Wave device from controller

I have an Aeon Motion sensor DSB05-ZWUS/ZW07 that no longer senses motion nor responds.

With this unit plugged into USB power I wanted to remove/exclude and add/include. the Red light is on with USB power however I can't remove nor re-add this unit. I have tried a factory reset.

the question. How do you manually remove or exclude node or Z-Wave unit from the interface controller that is dead?

To delete a non-responsive node, go to the Root device's configuration page, Z-Wave tab, and select "Remove Bad Node".

You can get to the Root device from View... Device Management. Or via Plugins... Z-Wave... Node Information, where the link for each device is on its top line after "Full Name:"

Note: If you have a replacement unit, you can use "Replace Node" instead.

NutsyHome many thanks I don't often configure Z-Wave devices.....

I was test driving the Z-Seer+ and noticed I had two bad nodes 36 & 40

I was able to delete Node 36 using your guidance.

1 go to the Root device Plugins... Z-Wave... Node Information, where the link for each device is on its top line after "Full Name:"

2 , Root device's configuration page, Z-Wave tab select "Remove Bad Node".

3 Node 36 & 40 successfully removed from interface stick.

      Much appreciate your assistance.
