Which linux zwave plugin for Pi?

In the betas section of the plugin page I note that there are two different zwave plugins that could be used on a Pi Zee:

    HomeSeer Z-Wave Linux 3.0.1.252

    HomeSeer Z-Wave Linux S2 Support ARM 3.0.2.240

Which is the best to use?

I think the S2 one is for higher security. I think there are device requirements for it to work. Also it has not been universally implemented by manufacturers. I believe that older connectivity devices are still supported.

S2 is the new z-wave security standard and is still in development. S2 compatible devices are starting to be released, but there are few in the market, so unless you have S2 compatible devices that you want to use the S2 protocol on, then I would stick with the non-S2 version. Current generation of Z-Wave plus is not S2.
