  • Smart Dimmer 6 by Aeotech z-Wave

I have a Smart Dimmer 6 manufactured by Aeotec. The units powers an exhaust fan at different speeds depending on the condition. It has been working for 12 months,

Recently the voltage feedback stopped working, It will read amps and KW. the unit will control the fan... not sure how it is calculating KW without volts since volts x Amps = watts

Anyone have an idea on how to correct this??

Have you tried re-scanning it? Also, most dimmers are not designed to work with motors. Are you sure this one is?

        thanks for the suggestion....

1 I re scanned all devices it seems to have found all 10 children (see attached)

        2. retested it records .5 amps, 58 Kw but 0.00 volts (see attached..)

3 Interestingly enough the log file is missing the child device Volts (attachment)

        4 I think i see 10ish children (attachment)

Not sure why the volts quit recording.....

        Many thanks
