I included this remote control in gateway mode. It included fine, and created a root, battery and central scene device. It worked fine for a few hours, immediately reporting and changing the scene number on the child device. A few hours later, it stopped working. I tried bringing it next to my Z-Net to see if that made a difference. It didnt. I tried randomly pressing buttons, and all of a sudden it started working again. Then again, after a few hours, it stopped working again. No button press is registered on the child device nor shows up in the log. Battery level is new, and on pressing the top 2 buttons together it lights up green, to indicate battery over 50%
