Buggy garbage.
I re-instated my Fibaro Double Switch 2 for a new role in the house, and I remember why I decommissioned this piece of garbage.
Nothing works as it should, I spent hours trying different parameters only to find either the manual is wrong or the firmware is buggy as hell.
Anyway, if anyone else runs into issues with the switching of switch 1 & 2 and specifically manual switching using physical buttons and issues with instant notifications, here is what I found with my particular version.
From the manual...
Parameter 20: (Switch type)
This parameter defines as what type the device should treat the switch connected to the S1 and S2 terminals.
Available settings:
0 - momentary switch
1 - toggle switch (contact closed - ON, contact opened - OFF)
2 - toggle switch (device changes status when switch changes status)
Default setting: 2 Parameter size: 1 [byte]
However, those settings are wrong for my version, this is correct:
1 - momentary switch
2 - toggle switch (contact closed - ON, contact opened - OFF)
0 - toggle switch (device changes status when switch changes status)
Associations below are default as of inclusion, but I have noticed that different configurations don't always create predictable results.
Also, I could never get associations to configure as below if I changed any of them; I need to reset the Fibaro switch and re-include to get back to this association configuration.
