i know from details of the low level kwikset zwave 88 smartlock that locking it by pressing JUST LOCK button does generate a code 5.
If you lock it with user code 1234 and then press the LOCK button - this is called a SECURE lock, it also returns code 5. I know that at a low level the lock returns alarm type 018 with alarm level 0 for just lock button pressed of > 0 if a code is entered (1234).
