    Constant Z-Wave Errors even after data reset in plugin

    About 2 months ago I started seeing daily Z-Wave errors on two or three devices... so following some old threads I used the plugin to 'reset' the zwave data (routing data) and now, its worse than before and getting errors on all but a few zwave devices. Looks like issues with wall-powered appliance switches (GE & Aeotec), two Schlague doorlocks, and three Dome battery powered chimes/sirens.

    Not seeing errors/logs for the 4x Zooz ZEN72 (dimmers installed in the past 3-4 months) or any of my 10 multi-motion sensors and many other zwave battery devices (water sensors, etc) The zwave devices and the HS3 PC / Z-stick do not move so routing should not be changing.

    I optimized (in the zwave plugin) the Zooz dimmers and the appliance modules (which get errors) since those are adjacent to many of the battery devices and somewhat scattered around the house evenly.

    Help is highly appreciated!

    This looks like the Z-Wave interface is getting overwhelmed. What is generating all of this Z-Wave traffic? Is it an event? If a device or devices are in a failed state and the signal can't be sent/received the entire network can fail due to the queue being full of commands. I'd recommend trying to reduce some of this network traffic and see if this doesn't improve.

      the Zwave network has a total of 60 nodes (most are battery powered and set to poll every 6 hrs). About 2 months ago, I added four Zooz ZEN72 ZW+ dimmers and 6 Bali shades. None of those show errors or warnings in the log; and they are not showing chatty in the regular log so I suspect they are not causing the issue. I dont see a ton of chatty stuff either. Below is an example; 99% of hte activity seems to be multi-sensors reporting (see below for snippet). . We have motion sensors in each room / garage / patio = 14 total (10 are multi-sensors) and this has not changed in many months, but this issue with errors, and infrequent Zwave comm failures, started about 2 weeks ago and is mainly the door locks have issues. In the past 3 days things look to be better, but not fixed - there are only 4 errors in 3 days...

        I'd be interested to hear if this gets resolved.
        I am also having issues of random non-repeatable error messages in the log just like the OP and also don't have a particularly 'busy' network.
        Trouble ticket was opened and closed a while ago with no true resolution.
        I keep telling myself that it's still better than X-10.
