HELTUN - High Load Switch HE-HLS01

Has anyone experience with the HELTUN High Load Switch HE-HLS01 in combination with HomeSeer?

    Hi John,

Is there anything in specific that you would like to know? I do have a HE-HLS01 for a while, but it's just not in use yet. If you want, I can test it tomorrow (with HS4 Windows, Aeotec Z-stick and version 3.x or 4.x plugin).
Plugins I developed for HS4: Somfy Local, MiLight (LimitlessLED), Updates, Volvo (VoC), OpenTherm Gateway (OTGW)
Running HS4 Pro on Windows 10 Pro on a Synology VM, with Node-RED running as a container.

I ordered two, but I'm not able to include it in HomeSeer 4 yet. I' using a Z-net in combination with the latest version of the 4.x plugin.

I would appreciate if you can try to include.

Do you also have a black version (all the pictures on internet shows a white device, while I got a black one).

Well, I got it out of its - still wrapped - box. Should have made an unboxing video, I guess 🙄 It's black!

I have actually tested both 3.x and 4.x plugin, just to make sure. In between I have excluded and deleted anything Z-wave related from the folders.

Did get it included. First as a Thermostat:

        Code:
        Add Node started...
Activate the 'Add to Network' function on the device...
Activate the 'Add to Network' function on the device...

        Adding a new SLAVE NODE...
DONE - Add Node Operation is Complete.
        Done. Node 10 Added.
        Reloading (importing) node information...
Synchronizing node information with HomeSeer and creating new device(s) as necessary...
Synchronize nodes finished. Number of device nodes to be created/added = 1
Adding using S0 Security, Negotiating or Verifying SECURITY SCHEME for node 10
Z-Wave Security Scheme and Key Exchange was successful for node 10, now waiting for the device to finish storing information before proceeding...

Which is not how I want to use it, I want it to be a switch (Want to place it inside and run wires to my front garden and back garden for some sockets, which is why it's not in use yet - still have to do some digging). Had to the read the manual for that. Apparently it's how you include it. Two presses of the button will include it as switch, 4 as a thermostat. I always keep pressing, because in my experience usually nothing much happens - with Fibaro devices anyway.. So, after some exclusion trouble I got it included as a switch by pressing the button 2 times:

Good to see you got it working. Thanks for the heads up. It could be the firmware version. If I'm correct mine is 1.2 (App Version in the inclusion log). On the Heltun site I saw an .OTA file for version 1.5. I wonder if that can be used from HS. What's your firmware version?

Although that one is not mentioned on HELTUN's site. Wondering if this is an error or that their site is outdated.

Contacted the supplier of the HELTUN. I ordered two, he suggested to open also the second unit (I did not want to open that unit before contacting them)..

Do you also own the 5-relay switch? I ordered and was disappointed that the energy measuring is in fact an energy calculation.

I saw the firmware changelog confirms that 1.5 adds this functionality: "Added a new feature to show the current consumption in the controller measured in Amperes."
So I'll try Z-Flash before I start using the device.

No, I don't own the 5-relay switch. Wow, I just noticed how much more expensive this brand became..

HELTUN confirmed that the 1.7 FW version displayed in HS is correct. They only did not made this update publicly available.

No, they are not that quick in making updates available OTA.
