Installed new image (thanks!) on the sd card. Booted up ok. Reloaded config and so far so good. Thank you to zwolfpack for the support!

I've tried the upgrade again a few more times with identical results. Looks like I'll need to perform a full upgrade unless anyone has other suggestions?

Moving to the latest HS3-Pi image might be easiest. It comes with mono 4.6.2.

I've managed to help a few others with upgrading but it can be an ordeal. LMK what path you want to go with.

Thanks for catching that. I've tried with the instructions for the Zee2. Took quite a while but when finally finished indicated "E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages". System then rebooted. Tried a few times with similar results. Still showing mono v3.2.8. Do I need a complete reimage? Other thoughts?

There's a problem with the link in post #9. The URL text displayed is different from the underlying link. The link is for the instructions for the SEL rather than the Zee S2.

    Try this instead: https://helpdesk.homeseer.com/articl...e-to-mono-5-12

I've tried the procedure suggested several times over the last few hours, from both the system tools command line as well as from ssh'ing in. When installing, it looks like there are a number of errors when retrieving files. After installing, the system reboots, but when I check the mono version afterward, it's still sitting at v.3.2.8 - any other ways to get those files? Here is a copy of the install process with the retrieval failures if it helps:

you need to upgrade to mono 4.x or later using this guide: https://helpdesk.homeseer.com/article/209-update-to-mono-5-12

WARNING: by doing this you will lost all your events trigger: https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/ho...r-mono-upgrade
so you need to export your events before the upgrade and import them after.

back up everything you can, before the upgrade in case something goes wrong

Is the avahi-daemon running? Use the "service --status-all" command to check. The output will list all your services. Those with a + in front of their name are running.
