Here's one I haven't seen... doesn't change channel before record

I've had HSTV for a long time... last week, for some reason it appeared to lose all schedules. I did a 'downloadmulti' and 'importmulti' and all was fine...
... until I found that, when doing 'record' on my VCR, it is not changing the channel first!

Everything seems fine, record device is VCR, channel change is VCR... using the IR config window, selecting 'test' for the number buttons changes channel OK.

But, the VCR records whatever channel it was left on (by a human). Record and stop record are fine though.

    Any ideas?

After a record event is created, look at the IR string that is in the event. Does it have the number IR commands or are they missing?

Sorry about the delay, I was off-planet for a meeting.

The answer is, no, the channel change is not in the IR string (it's ,VCR,Record)

I found that the default channel change device was NOT set in the HSTV Admin page. I set it again, and manually edited the events that had it missing.

Weird. I guess it just disappeared somehow. I don't remember using the Admin page recently, but I suppose I could have deleted the channel change device somehow.
