Pause status

Hi spud,

is it normal Behavior that i never get a ''pause'' status when a movie is paused?

If I pause a movie , the hs3 status device stays on ''play'' . if i stop the movie , The hs3 device changes to stop.

No that's not normal behavior, the status should change to "Paused"

What version of Kodi are you running?.
Could you provide some debug logs?

I am running kodi 17.6 dsplayer .

Maybe it is the dsplayer fault , now that I think of it .but it was a good solution to watch hdr content on pc.

Your logs show some inconsistencies,: the plugin receives a Pause notification but then an immediate subsequent request returns speed=1 (it should be speed=0 if the player is paused)
I can't replicate this behavior on Kodi 17.6, so this may be a specific bug in dsplayer...

Anyway in version 3.0.1.13 available in the beta section of the updater (windows only) I made the plugin relies more on the Play/Pause notification rather than the speed field, so this should fix your problem. Please test and let me know.
