kodi 3.0.1.14 no device creation

after hs3 upgrade to hs4 on Ubuntu 20.10, everything works as before, however no device is created with the kodi plugin but it is connected to the kodi player.

Try adding /deviceutility to your server url and setup from there

that was the trick, I don't know why it didn't go through the normal way but the kodi media player is now there. assigned to a new device and now visible again in the home page.
