Transport is Locked

I just installed the plugin for the first time to control my Samsung UN55F8000. The plug-in is reading actions from the TV and logging them in HS, but when I attempt to control the TV (e.g. volume up) I get errors like:

Is your TV linked to an AV-Receiver or something similar, typically through optical fiber of HDMI that controls its volume? If so, you can't set the volume on the TV, it is constant and volume control is done on whatever device is providing the audio. I have similar issue because my TV is hooked up to a Sonos Beam/Playbar, where the latter is in charge of volume controls.
