Maybe the first question I should have asked is, what exactly do you want to do?
The RCR and DMR functions are very different. The RCR functions have actually nothing to do with DLNA but I tossed that in a long time ago. It actually communicates with an APP that runs on your TV that mimics a remote (IR) controller. So you can do pretty much everything with that except for powering on the TV. It is unfortunately uni-directional so you cannot "read" the setting on the TV (but by polling via DMR you might, read further).
The DMR functions, depending on the implementation of the device, typically only allow you to control the content being rendered as under control from the DLNA controller (which is this PI). So let's say you are watching a movie from your cablebox or DVR, you cannot stop/pause/start that content because the PI doesn't own it. You can only start/stop/pause the content that you instructed the TV to play from the PI itself. So in other words, what will work is when you select a movie or music track via this PI and instruct your TV to render it. Once that is done, the TV will revert back to "normal" operations ie input from its regular input ports (hdmi, coax, vga ...)
Having that said, things like volume setting should actually work but you may have to turn the polling flag on (please read help file).
The errors in your log are a bit different from what I've seen with my Samsung so I wonder whether there is some setting (allowance) that you need to take care off on the TV itself. What version of Samsung is it? Read up on the TV's manual and my help file.

What is it that you are trying to do via scripts that you cannot do via regular HS actions? Any of the buttons that are created as part of an RCR or DMR device do not require scripting or you should use the normal scripting way (don't know by heart but sure well documented) how to simulate a button click. You would need the MUSIC API for things like title, albums ie. content.
