  • HS3-Linux install issue

I've been evaluating HS3 on Linux (Raspberry Pi). When installing Sonos plugin 3.1.0.24, following appears in log, and the help is not installed.

    Code:
Sep-12 10:30:49 PM Updater Extracting files from zip file: help.zip
Sep-12 10:30:49 PM Error Bad filename of /opt/HomeSeer/Updates3/Sonos3.1.0.24/help.zip passed to UnZip function.
    Contents of installer archive:
    Code:
    $ unzip -l Sonos3_1_0_24.zip
    Archive: Sonos3_1_0_24.zip
      Length Date Time Name
    --------- ---------- ----- ----
       564301 10-03-2015 08:09 bin.zip
      1070444 08-05-2018 10:38 Help.zip
      1250304 08-05-2018 10:24 HSPI_Sonos.exe
         1538 12-24-2014 16:30 HSPI_Sonos.exe.config
       831655 12-21-2014 01:06 images.zip
          251 10-03-2015 08:10 install.txt
    --------- -------
      3718493 6 files
    install.txt contents:
    Code:
    ,[CHECKVERSION],3.0.0.149
    HSPI_Sonos.exe,.,0
    HSPI_Sonos.exe.config,.,0
    ,[DELFILES],.\html\Sonos\Help
    help.zip,[UNZIPOVER],.\html\Sonos\Help
    images.zip,[UNZIP],.\html\images\Sonos
    ,[DELFILES],.\html\Sonos\bin
    bin.zip,[UNZIPOVER],.\html\Sonos\bin
Note case mismatch "Help.zip" in Sonos3_1_0_24.zip vs. "help.zip" in install.txt. As Linux pathnames are case-sensitive, this seems the likely culprit.

At the top of the page on your HomeSeer look at Tools>Help it is under Sonos.

Hi Randy, That’s the point, it isn’t installed! So not available and I can’t find a working link.

I probably should have read the thread

I have attached the help files here, it is HTML with supporting files. On a Windows installation it is under html\Sonos\Help. It should be in the same relative place on Linux.
