Well - it appears I lost all the favorites, radio stations and the virtuallinein fails on two speakers - I have now uninstalled the PL - I did so using the steps you gave someone else in this forum - I have now reinstalled - I do not see the errors but I am now waiting on the favorites and radio stations to update. I'll let you know what happens.

The virtualLineIn has no function, I coded it at some point, thinking I might use it, I believe it has something to do with controlling devices connected via HDMI. The fact that you did get an error on it is interesting. Can you post a screenshot of your player table and list which players are paired.

The favorites and radiostations, unless you have set it to automatic (in the PI config screen), you need to do it manually. I don't recommend to set it to immediate as nowadays too many things are stored in the Sonos DB and the PI could get quite busy continuously transferring the DB. So my recommendation is to set it automatic, which means daily and set it to say 2:05am. If you did update something on Sonos and you want it urgently on the PI, then just do it manually (click on control for the master device and then click buildDB). One thing you may want to check in the config settings, which player is selected as the DB Zone Name? Make sure this isn't a paired S1 or something that is providing surround sound for a Play bar/beam/base.

So - I turned on debug and watched the logs - seems okay - I was worried the favorites and radio stations were failing as I set the update to 21:30 but I did not see it update in the logs - I than turned on the 'auto update flag' and within a few minutes the update started and finished. So, it appears for now to be good. I never like pulling out the sledge hammer but this time it was the last resort - so let's see if it all stays -

So, I do have an off topic question - How do you utilize the speakers for announcements - like 'Welcome home sir.'

          Thanks

Just wanted to add - I appreciate how quickly you reply -

Uploaded new version .34 in the beta section of the installer. This version should "fix" the errors
