    Sonos Plugin Log Entries

    Question: The Sonos plugin fills my log file with hundreds of entries where is disconnecting and reconnecting players. Occasionaly it gets an error and then corrects. Is this normal behavior or do I have something set incorrectly?

    If you see a lot of disconnects/reconnect, you should investigate your network. If you have a lot of wireless players, try another wireless channel. The players run an RSTP protocol between them, so even one player going in and out could cause the players to reroute between themselves and attribute to what you are seeing. If you use DHCP, make sure you don't have a device (like a laptop/smartphone) with fixed IP setting, stepping on your dynamically allocated IP addresses (chased this problem with another user for weeks).
