  • Wireless connection? I can receive, but send is intermittent

I am using AquaConnect from my PS4 wirelessly, and I wonder if it is causing my issue... Have the serial converter plugged into a Global Cache GC-100 that is plugged into a wi-fi router in bridge mode... which is connecting via a virtual com port on my server to communicate with HomeSeer. It seems that the Rx is working fine, as I am seeing the display update correctly, but button presses on the control window are not working, and programs are not controlling the pump schedule I have set up. Control ins intermittent, it does work fine at times, and others it does not.

From what I can tell, the logs show the transmissions as:

Something potentially a weak point in the wireless set up, or something else? Would love some ideas. Please let me know if I can provide anything else.

I don't know enough about Serial communication, but the reason I suspect the hardware is that I read that the Aqua Connect serial adapter requirements are:

"Framing and Rate: Asynchronous serial mode is used with the following character format: 1 start bit, 8 data bits, no parity and 2 stop bits. The data rate is 19.2 kbps. The basic frame structure used is shown below. "

It looks like my GC-100 only supports 1 stop bit. Problem?

      Hi Blake,

I took a look at the serial output and it looks to be formatted correctly. I suspect you are having issues downstream of the virtual com port.
