This is caused because the plugin is expecting the heater to be named "Gas Heater" in the pool controller. You heater must have been configured with a different name. I updated the plugin to allow you to select the name you used for your heater a while back, but did not add it to the manage plugin updater.

I will be posting version 3.0.3.0 today. You can install it manually now if you like by:

Temporarily disable Aquaconnect using the "plugins" -> "manage" homeseer page. Unzip the attached file and replace your existing "HSPI_AQUACONNECTE.EXE" file with this version. Reenable Aquaconnect and let me know how it goes.

Tks for the speedy response.... I installed the v3.0.3.0 and was able to note my heater is called "Heater 1" on Pro-Logic pool automation and recognized it as such in your config page. Still having some issues with the graphic control page drop down... for example, as I scroll down the numbers drop down closes and keeps sending me back to the top...so I can never for example set 104F for spa... pool drop down is same. Also if I use the up or down arrows instead of drop down.... it says its send the command but nothing happens. I have NO problem to go to the "Settings Menu", change spa heater setting temp to 104F for example and then turn on Spa Filter...that works fine but not via your graphic command page. Let me play with this another day and see if its something on my end. If u recognize something obvious on your end...pls then let me know. THANKS ! Rick

Are the other functions of the plugin working properly? ie. able to control other things through the graphic command page?

Are you getting any errors being logged?

May also help to temporarily turn on debug logging and send the results of trying to change the temperature to me.

Thought of a couple other things to try... Try to use the default homeseer device list screen heater controls and see if that works. Also...maybe rename your heater to Gas Heater on your controller and the plugin setup and see if that fixes it. Report back any results. Thanks!

NOTE: My heater is SHARED by pool & spa

---I changed to "Gas Heater" in Config... renamed the buttons and Homeseer Home automation name ... but it seemed to be the same situation
---I can do anything on your graphic control screen EXCEPT set temp of pool or spa
---I can control ALL the functions by going to the appropriate Hayward menu as shown on your graphic control screen, including changing temp of heater BUT...
---If I use *(1) the drop down temperature menu on your graphic control screen (Pool or Spa Heater) OR use the Spa or Pool Heater Setpoint drop down on the Homeseer "evice Management" screen it does not work AND AS I HAVE MY COMPUTER SITTING WHERE I CAN ALSO SEE THE SCREEN OF A Hayward WIRELESS REMOTE... WHEN I SELECT A TEMP FROM THE DROP DOWNS...../. THE DISPLAY SCREEN ON THE WIRELESS CONTROLLER STARTS TO CYCLE THRU ALL OF THE MENU SCREENS!!!! AND LOG SHOWS:

I sent you a separate PM. The plugin works by cycling through the menus until it see's the Heater screen and then adjusts the temperature. The errors indicate it is still not getting the expected display text when it is cycling through the menus. There is a mismatch between the Heater name in the plugin configuration and the actual controller. When you manually change the temperature using the controller, what is the Heater called on the display?

Thank you, Mike. I am up and running and very much appreciate your time this weekend to address my issues. As you know, I had a setup that apparently only a small % of users have i.e. Pool Spa w/ a Shared Heater which created some issues.... You backed up your plugin and updated some aspects to fit my situation as well as others. Thank you. I love this plugin...its like having a Hayward wireless remote on my cell, tablet or laptop. Super cool!

Would you mind sharing the fix? I think I am having the same problem. I have a shared heater for both the Pool and Spa. All other controls within the plug-in work (including that the Heater1 button works to turn on/off the heater), but I can't use the drop downs or the +/- adjustments for the set points.

In case it helps, when changing the temps, my controller reads either (depending on the mode): "Spa Heater1 [98oF]" or "Pool Heater1 [85oF]"

                    Thanks in advance!

                      Ok...let's verify a few things:

                      1) have you updated to latest version of the plugin 3.0.3.3?

                      2) is your actual pool controller configured in "dual equipment" mode?

If so...you must select the following 2 options in the plugin configuration page:

                      Multispeed Filter Pump Enable

                      Multispeed Spa Pump Enable

If you do not have "dual mode" you must unselect Multispeed Spa Pump Enable option.

                      3) are you seeing any aquaconnect plugin errors in the homeseer log? If so, post them here.

Thanks for the quick response! To answer your questions:

                        1) have you updated to latest version of the plugin 3.0.3.3?
-- I am running version 3.0.3.0. I now see the update to 3.0.3.3, so I will upgrade and report back.

                        2) is your actual pool controller configured in "dual equipment" mode?
-- Set to "Pool and Spa - Std" which I believe is not dual equipment mode. (The alternative is "Pool and Spa - Dual", but this is not what my controller is using.)

If so...you must select the following 2 options in the plugin configuration page:

                        Multispeed Filter Pump Enable

                        Multispeed Spa Pump Enable

If you do not have "dual mode" you must unselect Multispeed Spa Pump Enable option.
-- I double-checked this item--it is not checked in my config. (The Multispeed Filter Pump Enable is checked).

                        3) are you seeing any aquaconnect plugin errors in the homeseer log? If so, post them here.
-- I will make the above changes and then report back on any errors, etc.

                        Thanks again!
