Roomba robots disappear from the plugin

I have successfully retrieved BLID and password for my Roomba 980, installed the BLRoombaWifi plugin and assigned the data to the plugin.
The plugin creates devices, but none of them are active and working.

I have tried restarting the plugin. After restarting there are no longer any Roomba robots configured in the plugin (restarting HS3 has the same effect). The devices created by the plugin are still there, but they are still not working.

    Suggestions anyone?

Same problem here since last HS update. No way to get the Roomba back, even from a complete machine backup. Re-adding seems top work, but after a plugin restart the robot is gone again.

      Update:

For some reason added Roombas never work and always disappear after plugin or HS restart. This is what I get in the debug log:

          Hi Blade,

I'll attach a new log a bit later. I've just restored a backup from 2 weeks ago - just to make sure I hit a version thats working - and still no luck.

What happened is that all looked normal but the robot wouldnt accept any commands or update any status anymore. Checking the plugin setting showed that there's no Roomba configured anymore. I tried a couple plugin restarts, a couple HS restarts, machine reboot - no good.
So I went and read my blid & pw again and configured the robot again, with the same name. It was created ok and showed up in the plugin. Still didnt work. After plugin restart there werent any roombas configured again.
Tried reconfiguring it with a new name. Same thing. First it's there but doesnt work (created new devices, too) and after a plugin restart its gone.

Long story short: I can create roombas as often as I want, using existing names (existing as in devices have been created for a roomba with that name before) or brand new. Every time I can set them up and after a plugin restart they are gone.

          Seriously odd.

Just thinking aloud: looks like it can't write/access some config settings? Permission issue of sorts?

                Can you do this:

                1. Delete old debug log
                2. Disable plugin
                3. Update to 2.0.19 in the beta section
                4. Edit BLRoombaWifi.xml in the config folder and change the debugLevel tag to true
                5. Save the XML file
                6. Restart the plugin

Once the plugin has started for a bit then turn off debug logging
Attach the new debug log zipped
                Cheers,

Sure can. If I install the new version, start it and stop it again it will not have any roomba configured. Is that OK?

Why would no roomba be there?
Try adding it again and then let it run for a minute, then disable the debug log and attach zipped
                    Cheers,

Because thats my main issue: when I restart the plugin any configured Roomba is gone.

                        OK
after you add it, shutdown plugin and then attach your XML zipped
I want to see if it is getting added

Ok, that's odd. I've done as you asked, including editing the config XML. It now says

                          Code:
                          [Settings]
                          debugLevel=true
but no log is created. Plugin settings / Options / Debug Logging is unchecked.

Seems like it's not reading the XML.

You are looking at the INI file - the plugin does not look at that anymore
You need to look at the BLRoombaWifi.xml file
                            Cheers,
