  • Can't unlock charger port

I am trying to unlock my model 3 charger port using the PI but it seems the command button is trying to open the port instead of unlocking it.
    Tesla Vehicles Command 'charge_port_door_open' failed: '{"response":{"reason":"already open","result":false}}'

Unfortunately it's the same API command at this point. I'll test this with my car later and see if I can figure out when/why this does/doesn't work.

The API site I was using for reference has this to say:

      https://owner-api.teslamotors.com/ap...port_door_open
Opens vehicle charge port. Also unlocks the charge port if it is locked.
Unfortunately, it looks like this last part is inaccurate (it's possible it's changed), so ultimately I'll probably need to remove those controls.

... and after I removed them, I can confirm that the original command does work (or perhaps was fixed in a software update). I'll add it back in on the next update! In the short term, it's the same command you use to open the charge port door, so you can substitute that if you need it before next weekend or so.
