I am trying to get alexa to add some of these devices to the homeseer skill but no matter what I do I cant get alexa to find the devices I have enabled voice control on. Am I missing something simple?

I've experienced the same problem with Google Home (I don't use Alexa). I set up "Start" as the "On" command, and provided a friendlier voice name for my car for the "Controls" device and that one shows up, but I set up the door lock device as door lock and door unlock, but those don't show up at all. Not something I have any control over, though. That's a question for HST, I guess. -
Are these on/off, dim or thermostat devices? If not then they will not be added.Comment

That is what I was thinking the problem was/is. I can create some devices and events as a work around.Comment
