Trying out blsecurity

I just installed plug, started off with perimeter mode, got devices in, but I think Aim missing something, when the one is tripped, it does not announce the area where it was tripped, anybody seen this before?

I think you are expecting a lot more from this plugin than it actually does.. it doesnt announce the area that was tripped..

If a perimeter sensor is tripped thats it, the perimeter is in alert,

There's no reason you can't use that "alert" as a trigger to announce the opening though.

BTW Hector, didn't i read somewhere on here the you had installed a DSC system? If so I guess i wonder why both, or did you change your mind on the DSC?

No I havent changed my mine, I use DSC for the hole house sistem, but I would like something that can monitor the outside peremiter and alert me with a TTS in my room, not with a alarm..

Never mind, I found it under the speak option.
