    I'm running the latest beta, but still have this issue.

    I turned on debugging and see an error: "Message command/request failed = 011C1D1E"

    Does this ring any bells ??

    Thanks,
    Regards,

      I will take a look at the error tonight.

      Did you verify that both settings have option 9 enabled for the keypad?

      Also can you try a "temporary message" using the GUI? Caddx does require that you save the "message" to the keypad before you can display it so it will be a two step process.

        Can you also make sure Option 11 (custom message lock) is disabled.

          I tried this many times, with different keypad settings. But I still cannot set any temporary messages on the second (200) keypad.

          Any other thoughts ??

            Sorry to keep making your revisit but I just want to be sure because the plug in doesn't know the difference between one keypad and another. I have 7 keypads and all work. The plugin uses the same exact code for each with only the address changing.

            You are using an NX6.
            1. What keypad model are you using?

            2. Assuming you are using the 148E When you *94[program code]. It says keypad 2 and partition 1? (Just want to make sure since I am only using one partition

            3. When you hit *93 and press the keypad * eight times do you get
            Code:
            Custom Message?
            0=no 1=yes (1)
            4. When you hit *93 and press the keypad * ten times do you get
            Code:
            Custom Message Lock?
            0=No 1=Yes (0)
            5. Are you able to "manually" set a custom message? Meaning can you set up a custom message just using the keypad?

            I know that a lot of this you have already done and my instructions are "too detailed" but I am also thinking that someone else may be reading this and not know everything you already know.

            If all these are set up, I will try to see what else we can do. The error message you told me about doesn't seem to lead anywhere because it seems to be an awk failure which isn't uncommon but I am still looking.
