Ugh...looks like I got blacklisted. My MyQ app no longer works while on my home network and the plugin has been down for weeks. I am going to disable the plugin until the new fix comes out. How long are does it take to get off the blacklist?

The blacklist comes off fairly quickly (if it's still an issue in a couple of days I think there is something else wrong). That said, are you using the beta version of the plugin? I have had no issues since I installed the latest beta.

I am still running the prod version. I'll wait to get off the list and try the Beta.

I downloaded the latest beta release for MyQ and I noticed the drop-down for logging. Initially, logging was set to Debug so I changed it to Error and then noticed a message on the configuration screen that logging was set to Trace and not to leave it that way for extended periods. I reset it to Error but had to restart the system, when it came back up it was set to MyQ logging was set to Trace again and I had a log full of messages. Once I set it to Error the log messages quit but any idea why it won't stay to what ever was selected prior to restart?

Eric mentioned in an earlier post that the Beta versions would be forced to more detailed logging, to make troubleshooting easier. The production version will allow you to set it how you would like.

              Hey all,

Just got back home about an hour ago. I've submitted the latest version to Homeseer for production release. Not sure when they'll publish it due to the holidays and the weekend.

For those running the beta version, the beta is LOCKED to debug logging level on purpose. Once you install the production build the normal logging level will return.

The MyQ plugin on my HS3Pro also stopped working in November, and I haven't been able to determine what happened. An update was published, I downloaded to install like usual with updates, the install for the plugin failed, and disappeared from the list of plugins in HS3 Pro - gone. Additionally, when I reboot / restart Homeseer, I get an error in the startup log showing that it is looking for the plugin but can't find it. Eventually startup skips it and everything else in my system works fine, but I can't seem to fix the MyQ - and I don't see a way to delete the plugin to at least eliminate the startup error as it appears to be gone already, and I also don't see a way to reinstall the plugin without paying $39.95 again. Any advice? The plugin has worked very well, and I would like to keep it!

Notes: MyQ and garage door working fine, MyQ iPhone app controlling the garage door working properly, Homeseer otherwise working properly.

I sent a new update in for them to publish and should be on the updater some time monday I'm guessing. In the meantime, it looks like some of the dependencies didn't get installed when you installed the update. Try deleting the DLL files under C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HS3\bin\MyQ\ and the HSPI_MyQ.exe file under C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HS3\

Once those are all gone, the plugin is essentially removed and then you can try the new install on monday, if you still have issues after the new update, let me know and I'll work with you to get it up and running.

OK - Thank you. I'll look for the new update this week, and will let you know what happens when I install.

The title says fixed, but I just installed the latest beta and it’s still not fixed for me.

I removed the DLLs, reinstalled the beta, and same problems. I don’t believe I’m blacklisted as every other method of using MyQ, including the iOS app and HomeKit on the same network, works fine.

Given I’m the OP, would you mind changing the subject back to “not fixed”? Apparently I can’t change this myself.

                      Thanks,
                      Mark

It sounds like you're having a different issue than everyone else. Since this thread is muddled enough, I'll close the thread, can you please start a new thread or message me directly with your current situation so I can focus on your specific issue. The blacklisting has been solved with the latest release available today.
