Connecting to HAI Omni Pro II Panel and Importing Zones

    Hello all:

Newbie here and slowly learning the technology. Just moved into a home where the previous owner had HS2 with HAI Omni plugin controlling an Omni Pro II Panel. The Omni system runs well using the old HS2 system. I recently installed a HomeTroller S6 Pro and now have the Omni Plugin. I have installed the plugin as directed but fear it is not communicating with the panel. I have verified the IP address (192.168.0.101), port (4369) and encryption keys several times using the keypads. I am also able to successfully ping the IP address. However, I have tried to disable and enable the plugin and get the following error. Any thoughts on how I can successfully connect and import my existing zones from the previous system?

Do you know what version of firmware is on the panel?

      Thank you rmasonjr.

Not exactly sure how to determine the firmware version on the panel but when I run the system successfully using HS2 on the original home computer, the start up log contains an entry that says, "Panel Model: 16 (HAI Omni Pro II) with Panel Software Version: 2.13 Rev: B." Could that be it?

Yes, I had another user with the same firmware version and that was the problem.
I think you can get the chip for around $40 USD or so. Contact Leviton support and they can make sure you get the right one for your panel.
