    Turn on/off a flag

How do I turn on and off a flag with the Omni plugin without having to have two separate buttons to control the flags in the Omni panel automation? For example, I want to say "Alexa turn on company-visiting," and conversely "Alexa turn off company-visiting."

Thanks in advance for any help.

I would create a HS virtual device that is a simple on/off device that is controlled with Alexa. Once you have that working, create an event that when the virtual device changes to on or off, control the OMNI button.

I need to turn on/off a flag with one event. Can I do that without having to create two separate buttons to turn the flag on and off?

It's possible that EasyTrigger can 'toggle' an on/off button.

Any chance of adding a future enhancement to turn on/off an Omni flag? I'm surprised this hasn't been asked for before now.

I think someone else did request using Flag On or Off instead of 0-255. I'll add it to the list.

"...On or Off instead of 0-255."

I'm confused. Is there currently a way to set a flag's value with the Omni plugin?

Yes - in the event action, choose "Control a Device", then select the OMNI flag to change

I set all my flags to go on and off with this control format on the Graphics tab....
Edit Status Text for device DINING SCENE
                  Value Status Row Column Column
                  Span
                  Status-Control
                  Control Use:
                  both control status
                  Control Use:
                  both control status
