Will my OmniPro II system work with this plug-in?

I have the 2000 model with the original firmware. I don’t believe it supports the Omnilink II protocol. I found chips to upgrade but didn’t want to purchase prior to checking if it was necessary.

the unit has the 3 port and Ethernet connection but is not flash upgradable. I can ping the unit but that doesn’t mean the plug-in necessarily could connect with the omnlink original protocol.
