    using ARM as a trigger

    I'm trying to set an event so that my zwave lock locks when the Omni panel is armed away. I've used what I thought was the correct "if user armed or disarmed the system" but it does not seem to trigger the action. When I arm the system I normally press the away button twice rather than inputting a user code. Is that an issue?

    If you dont care who armed the system, you can use a regular HS Device trigger. Here's an example:

      I'm not seeing an option like that. Here's what options I get for my devices.

        It's the second option in the first dropdown: A Device's Value is...
        From there, you'll get the option "changes and becomes"

            Delete the AND IF line by clicking on the red X
            Instead of the OMNI OMNI root device, select the OMNI Area Modes which will then give you a dropdown list of values:

                On the Omni plugin config, click on the areas tab. Do you have any areas selected there? If not, select one or more to create homeseer devices.

                  Ok great, that did it. There was only one and it was not turned on. Works great now.

                  Do you happen to know if there is a plug in or some way to control a Schlage gen 1 deadbolt? I know the later version, the Plus model has zwave built in, but I'm not having any luck finding anything about accessing the older version of the locks. My Yale with zwave is working good.

                    I have an old Schlage lever lock that is Z-Wave that runs on the 4.0.x Z-Wave plugin from HomeSeer. It's having problems with that version of the plugin.
                    Is your lock connected to z-wave on your OMNI panel? What Z-Wave controller are you using?
