Update - I'm still rolling along and hope to have something for you guys by the end of the week. I hit a snag on Thermostat setpoints (search the board for Omnitemp) and finally have a working solution.

Also, I'm taking much care in creating the thermostat devices so that they show up automatically in the HSTouch default client. You have to create the devices with a specific subtype in order for it to work.
