Motion sensors time response.

I was just wondering is anyone here is using Elk M1 motion sensors to control lights via Homeseer. I am using Z-wave motion sensors and I am happy with the speed. Obviously it would be convenient to use existing motion sensors if there is Elk home security system already installed. Is motion status reported fast enough to be used to trigger lights events?

Also, is this plug-in actively supported? It looks pretty quiet here. It could be good or bad thing.

Dont use motion sensor in events but instead use a wireless Elk sensor on a door to trigger garage lights at night. Works fast enough when door opens and lights come. Slight delay just barely slower than a similar setup with a Zwave sensor on a pantry door.
