Cannot add zone status change as Event condition

I am using HS 3 with the plugin for my ELk M1. I am trying to create an event that will fire when a zone status changes. When I attempt to add the condition, it allows me to select the "IF" and "UltraM1G3: Elk M1 Zone Status", but when I then try to select a specific zone, it shows the zone I selected temporarily, but then immediately it switches back to "(Select Zone)". So it will not allow me to add the zone change as a condition.

Any ideas??
