users from M1 are no show

I have users configured on M1 that do not show or seem to be able to be added on M1 plugin. Am I missing something simple?

    * what is the process to add users to plugin

    * when all the users are "checked" to allow and there are others that M1G knows about... what then?
    or not checkable?

Supported Elk M1 Configuration Areas: 8 [1 defined]
    Keypads: 16 [2 defined]
    Users: 201 [4 defined]
    Zones: 208 [32 defined]
    Outputs: 208 [3 defined]

I went to the Define screen and raised the user # to 8.

    - Define screen set total value "in this case users" and

    - Plugin discovers them and makes them available in the plugin configure
    screen?

    Copy from page,

    005 Unknown Unknown Unknown
    006 Unknown 02 Disarmed 7/15/2008 8:59:49 PM
    007 Unknown Unknown Unknown
    008 Unknown Unknown Unknown
    201 Program Unknown Unknown

Can I PM Ultra if other details if needed?

    Thanks.

    Update 12:53 PM

Is the elkrp rename the key ? " a self discovery" answer to my question.

Note: The plug-in will enable the HomeSeer checkbox for each Elk M1 object that has been named. If
the checkbox is not enabled, then you’ll need to name the Elk M1 object using the ELKRP software, and
then forcing a manual data reload by clicking the “Reload Data” button on the UltraM1G HSPI Status
    web page.

What version of the plug-in are you running?
Do you have the user available via the ElkRP?

        Does plugin require a "single_name"
instead of a "single_name and_initial" syntax ? Does it matter?
The boxes are dimmed because their names are "Unknown". Did you recently add users? If so, you need to run UltraM1G > Status > Reload Data. The reload takes about 30 seconds. You should then be able to go to the Users web page and they should no longer be grayed out.

          reload data OK

that was the problem. Reload Data is "reload data from M1 - got it. Thanks.

          * What is the result of a device delete?
I have devices that I do not want displayed that are M1 data.

          * Does the rediscovery of the devices "reload data" sort them ina particular way?
Now on my display I have users , and zones by code sorted

          ]1
          ]2

          and so on.

Is there a grouping process I can configure , group by device type?

I could use name [A-Z] to sort on. But then zone will probably be last in list (or first)

          thanks.

questions I have not gotten answers for.

            * What is the result of a device delete?

I have devices that I do not want displayed that are M1 data.
will plugin change or is it outside of plugin? (seems that plugin has a order that it follows that is not in alignment with display /readability choices)

            * Does the rediscovery of the devices "reload data" sort them in a particular way? Can I change this. ( I do not want to have zones mixed with users as I add devices)

Now on my display I have users , and zones by code sorted

            ]1
            ]2

            and so on.

Is there a grouping process I can configure , group by device type? "feature request" ?

The devices are added in the order you create them. If you delete a device, the next device you add gets assigned the next free device code. This could result in a device being inserted between other Elk M1 devices (Keypad, Custom, Zones, Tasks, etc). Note: The latest UltraM1G version breaks out inputs (zones), outputs, thermostats, users, lighting to their own house codes. Only areas, keypads, custom and tasks share a house code.

When you display the devices using HomeSeer, it sorts based on name, status, location, device code, etc. The UltraM1G plug-in doesn't control the sorting order and cannot perform grouping (using the HomeSeer status page).
