Zone Violation and Area Alarm not triggering events?

Hi -

I've got HS and the plug-in running on Win 7 x64.
HS is connected using the M1XEP
I'm not running HS as a service
I have the free MS AV application installed and running on the HS machine

When I create rules for HS to act on M1G events they don't work.
HS sees the events (as they are logged in the event log), but I do not see the corresponding event happen.

This happens for zone based events (turn the light on, when the door opens)
This also happens for area based events (turn on all the light, if the alarm goes off)

What is the trigger for the event you created?

I wanted to embed a jpg of the Events so you could see it, but I don't seem to be able to do that. So ...

There are 3 events:


ALL LIGHTS ON @ FIRE ALARM

Event = FIRE ALARM
When = Everyday
Device Command: turns on each light



ALL LIGHTS ON @ ANY ALARM

Event = ALARM, ANY AREA
When = Everyday
Device command: turns on each light

I created the Fire alarm trigger first. If I'm using ANY ALARM, I assume that includes Fire, and can delete the fire, and just keep any alarm, any area.... correct?


Front Hall Light on when door opens

Condition = Time is anytime after sunset
AND
Zone status = violated
Device command: turn on the hall light
wait 2 min
turn off
