    Changing Output to emulate a Standard On/Off switch

    How can I change the Elk Outputs to show up as a standard on off switch?

    I tried removing the

    The goal would be to switch on Elk M1G outputs using the Amazon Echo interface without needing to create 20+ virtual switches and event logic...if I can just make an output seem like and On/Off switch.

    This would also help with Imperihome support to see those devices as an on/off switch.

    Any advice for changing the type of a device?

    Hello AgileHumor,

    You should be able to get this working by modifying the name of the output to something that can be recognized by the Alexa (e.g. My Test), then click on the Status Graphics tab and set Control Use to Off for Off and Control Use to On for On.

    Once that's done, you should be able to control the Output using Alexa as follows:

    Alexa, tell HomeSeer to turn My Test On

    == OR ==

    Alexa, tell HomeSeer to turn My Test Off
