  • Doesn't show up as a device in Imperihome

Hey Mark, I posted this over in imperihome forum but thought it might actually be something to do with the device. It doesn't show up anywhere as a device I can select and show my alarm on the dashboard. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? It works great on my older set up in my last house.

In the Imperihome plugin, you need to configure your panel keypad device as a multi-switch device. I have and selected all devices associated - Disarm, Arm-stay, Bypass All and Arm-Away.

Thanks! Don't remember having to do that last time but I'll definitely give it a try.

Sorry. I have your PI working great. Normally, say like a light, Imperihome will see a device (type) it recognizes, then let you select that as a widget on your Imperihome dashboard.

I swear when I did this years ago, the Alarm just showed up in Imperihome as an alarm device... now it doesn't show up.

I'm hoping that spud might have an idea .. but i'll try Langenet's idea as well.

What does the HS device you want to see in IH look like? Does it has any controls, or is it just status?
If it is just a status you may want to add a "generic sensor" from the Sensors tab in the IH plugin config.
