    My expierence with version 1.1.14

    Hi,

I have been running the Ademco version .14 for 24 hours or so and don’t notice any issues. My events all run fine. I have an asp page that I use with my iphone/touch for control of the alarm and it responds fine with .14. The page uses buttons and each press changes the device state (on/off/etc) with each press changes the device status. I have included an image of that screen (and the asp code) as an attachement in case anyone has any interest in it. I can’t comment on Homeseer touch with the ademco plugin while HST is installed I don’t use it. Several events (an image of them is in the attachemnt as well) they are run throughout the day to enable/disable the chime, enable disable the alarm and then manual control via the ASP page via web/and or iphone/ipod.

Also, I believe this version of the plugin is more responsive to panel changes than before, specifically when the alarm goes from no faults to fault. Enable debug is on as well as suppress duplicates in my configuration. Should something develop I will update this thread. As of 9am this mornnig (9am CDT) I have no complaints and the panels is FAR moire responsive than previous versions....

    Mark,

I was adding a couple of zones they are motion detectors (zone 10 and 11) and zone 10 added fine and faulted appropriately. When I added zone 11 it (something somewhere - not me) immediately set the zone to bypassed and I tried to un-bypass it - in a few seconds it would bypass itself again For now I have deleted that device and right now I have to take care of some other business. On Sunday I will try to duplicate issue and give you some additonal log info.

        Mark,

Things went a bit wonky today. A bunch of sending * started appearing in the log. Hundreds of them. I unpluged the USB connection to the ad2usb and upon reconnection they stopped.

The send * message started appearing in the log again about every 7 or 8 seconds. Maybe thats normal for .14 - don't know - anyway it makes a mess of the log so I turned off debug to see if that would help. I then turned off the monitor and then restarted the monitor. However the log showed an error that said Error starting monitor. Stopping HS and restarting HS cured that error.
