Yes, I have a touchscreen programmed but I am worried about giving it that address since the device I have there is an AUI device. Without a code in the main page and without GOTO enabled, whenever I do a partition 2 command the plug-in gets stuck in that partition. Notice the log... partition 1 is the "disarmed bypass" entries. but once I send a command to partition 2 it gets stuck there, notice how it never says partition 1's message afterwards:

also, zone 43 is part of partition2, proving it gets stuck in partition2 after the disarm command is sent there

Should I enable GOTO or put in a master code on the main settings page to fix the problem?

i need you to try this on a keypad or via putty to verify the user codes and access work.

        start on partition 1
enter [part 2 usercode]*2 -- this should take you to partition 2
arm partition two: [part 2 usercode]+3 --- arm stay
return to partition 1: [master code]*0

you must enter a master code in the plugin; it is used in the last cmd to return to part 1
this seq should respond correctly before the plugin can be used

the following is from the 128bp user guide which applies to the plugin

Each keypad is assigned a default partition for display purposes, and will
show only that partition's information. But, if the user is authorized, a
keypad in one partition can be used to perform system functions in another
partition, by using the GOTO command. Note that only those partitions
authorized and programmed by the installer can be accessed in this manner.
To GOTO another partition, enter your security code, then press [✳] followed
by the desired partition number (1-8).
The keypad will remain in the new partition until directed to go to another
partition, or until 120 seconds has elapsed with no keypad activity. Entering
your security code, pressing [✳] followed by [0] will return the keypad to its
        original partition.

The sequence you said worked with my code2. I can put in the master code for the settings page. Do you want code1 and code2 to have GOTO enabled for them

i don't think so. if the seq worked with GOTO disabled, then it should work in the plugin just the same.

please add the master code and then try the arm stay button on the Part 2 device.

I have the master code in the settings page. code1 for partition 1 and code2 for partition 2. they both have GOTO disabled. Almost everything works

Look what happens here when I tried to send a Stay command to partiiton2 from the web browser.

Do you think these problems may have to do with the new Turbo series panels specifically?

I think the panel isn't responding fast enough to the cmds so lets slow down how quickly the cmds are sent. the default delay between sending cmds for the 128bp is 2 secs

Add the following to the [ad2usb] section of your vistaalarm.ini.
                  WaitBetweenCmds=3

This will delay 3 sec; try higher numbers if 3 doesn't help. the plugin reads this dynamically, no need to restart hs, just change the value and save the ini and retest

ps. values like 2.5, 3.5 will work as well

OK that makes sense, I'll try that. Do you think it is only not catching up when the system says "Log-on to main partition 1" because it seems to do that somewhat frequently and I am not sure if that is a new feature of the turbo panels (128BPT).

Regardless I think now I am getting most of the functionality I want. My main complaint would be for my motion triggering events. I want two of my motion zones on the panel to trigger certain ISY scenes for certain times of day based on events I created in HomeSeer. Sometimes when you walk into the room and trip the motion, my program works but other times it takes up to 10 seconds or multiple trips of the sensor to trigger the scene. Is this because I trip the sensor while the plug-in is looking at the other partition? If thats the case should I change the time out on the main settings page to be less than 5 seconds? what is the least amount if time you could put without it upsetting the system by logging back and forth from each partition constantly

i can't speak to why the 128 bpt is behaving the way it is. i only have a 20se and 20p to work with.

are your motion sensors wired? if so there is no a quick fix for the delay. you could set the msg timeout down a bit but this might other problems with faults clearing too quickly. but give it a try

if they are wireless, you can implement an RF Device that will capture the msg much quicker. you need the rf device id and loop number.

the plugin only switches partitions to arm, disarm, or display faults. It does not need to switch just to get a fault. that said, if you aren't seeing part 2 faults on part 1 , you might be able to change this in the panel programming so that addr 18 sees both.

                      check the 128 manual

One of the motion detectors is wireless. How could I capture the signal faster?

you just need to register it on the RF Device tab of the plugin. you may need to upgrade to the latest if you don't have this tab

lets get everything else working first

Well it all seems to be working fine now. I am still having the problem with the motion status triggering the event because HS is only looking at one partition avery 5 seconds. I think the tracking my motion with this new software you are talking about would work well. how do I do that

Also, you probably already know this but as a batter saving feature the motion sensors only send a signal every 3? minutes. So if you have tripped the motion sensor only 1 minute ago it isn't gonig to be available to send another signal for a couple of minutes and that is only if you trip the motion sensor after that time period.
