    Which User Armed/Disarmed

    We recently install a Vista 20P alarm system at work with an AD2USB interface. I installed version the plugin version 3.0.0.15 and then upgraded to the BETA 3.0.0.22. (I am running HS3 v 3.0.0.208). I see status messages in the log and I can trigger events based on partition status. No errors that I can see.
    What I haven't been able to figure out is determining which user has armed or disarmed the partition. I see nothing in the log that would indicate a user. In the plugin setup, I enabled 'Emulate LRR'. As I understand it, LRR is really just a cell phone module, which our alarm monitoring company uses to monitor our system. (Is this correct?)
    Apparently this portion works because the app that the alarm company provides shows who armed/disarmed and at what times. I wrote several events to simply send me an e-mail when the alarm is armed or disarmed by user n ('n' being user 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15 or 16). The alarm company programmed these users. I didn't see anything in the plugin setup regarding users.

    I must be missing something basic in the setup. Any ideas?

    There is a Vista Alarm User Trigger that you can use to define the user # and partition # to fire an event. You don't need to identify user numbers to the plugin directly.

        so is the event not firing?

        can you enabled debug mode and test and post a log snippet

          Correct. The event does not fire. I had set debugging mode already so here's last night's arming entry: (The user that armed it was user #13 and that event didn't fire either).

            so there should be !LLR msgs logged.

            can you turn the vista monitor (device vista 1) off, and on, and post the msgs generated. Just want to verify your ad2usb supports LLR.

            also change the LLR setting Off (click save) and On (click save), and post those log msgs. I need to see if the setting is getting to the ad2usb

                        if you can get the installer code from him, i would. might be helpful in the future.

                        for reference, if you disable the LRR feature in the plugin/ad2usb, and the LRR is enabled in the panel, the panel will complain.

                          Just talked with him. He gave me the installer code and said that LRR is already enabled and that's what they use to monitor us.

                            if you actually have an LRR module, i wonder what this does to the ad2usb emulator.

                              Ok. since you physically have an LRR module, disable Emulate LRR in the plugin.

                              you will need to program panel fields *65 and *66 to enable the reporting of arm/disarm events
