    US Robotics 56k External Modem

Have a US Robotics modem that shows CID info when connected to putty. Using AT#CID=1 Tried with plugin and it fails. Even though I set initialization string to AT#CID=1 the error log seems to indicate that the default initialization string is still being used. Shows error messages relating to default setting. Any suggestions or anybody have success with a US robotics external modem. Thanks

I use the USB US Robotics. It used to be rock solid then something changed, haven't a clue what. I run HS on Server2012R2. My server does other things so who knows what caused the issue. I started noticing the modem was no longer working. After messing around and trying all sorts I now have a routine that disables and re-enables the plugin. That seems to help.
