    Connect to MySQL

I was looking at different posts and I came across a link from UltraJones (By the way, he is still active on the forum?) on how to connect to MySQL. Unfortunately that link points to a non existent web page. Did any of you connected to MySQL via UntraCID plugin? Would you be kind to show the documentation or how it is done?

    Thanks

When I converted all my plug-ins to sqlite3 a few ago, I removed support for other database types. I removed the other database types to simplify the user experience. If you need MySQL, you'll need to download the plug-in source and add support for MySQL.
Plug-ins: UltraMon, UltraM1G, UltraCID, Ultra1Wire, UltraLog, UltraWeatherBug, UltraPioneerAVR, UltraGCIR

Thank you Ultrajones for the fast reply. It looks like a complicated procedure, although I'm curious on how to do that. I saw your post with a source code, I think this is what you are referring to. I also know that you are not support it anymore so I will understand if you do not have time. By the way, not sure about your reasons but this plugin is fantastic, too bad you discontinued it. I had a way2call, it is nothing compared to yours. I wish I came across it long time ago. I will be happy to purchase it, I have few other plugins and they do not need any maintenance at all.

If the data you want to route to MySQL is stored in HS device then you may be able to use mcsMQTT to put it in MySQL database. Another.option may be node red.

As always, thank you Michael for the help, I will try it, alghouth since it was already build, I was going to take advantage of it, plus learning how to do what ultra Jones mentioned.
