On Hook / Off Hook Events Do Not Fire

I cannot get hook status events that are available with UltraCID to execute when the telephone hook status changes.

There are two UltraCID Hook Enent Types:
    • UltraCID Local Handset
    • UltraCID Phone Extension

I have setup On Hook and Off Hook events for both of theses. (What are the differences anyways?)

None of those 4 events ever fire off...

What DOES change is the "Phone Extension" Device that UltraCID creates. It does follow the hook status of the phone.

    Here it is On Hook

    Here it is Off Hook

I have updated to the latest version - 1.1.4659.35039 (On 10/4/2012)

Can anyone else confirm that these events are working and what is the difference between events for "Local Handset" vs "Phone Extension"

I'll look into that trigger. In the mean time, change the trigger to a "device value trigger".

The Local Handset and Phone Extension triggers were not working properly. Thank you for reporting this. I have it resolved and the update is now in the HomeSeer updater.

By the way, the "Phone Extension" is the other phones in your home and the "Local Handset" is the phone downstream from the modem. Most USB modems don't have a plug for a downstream phone.

It WORKS!!!!! Thank you so very much! This has been a VERY long process that started almost 2 months ago, but now it seems like everything I needed with UltraCID is now working!

Ultrajones that so very much for your time. I am really glad you wrote this plug-in.
