    Way2Call for NON-US users?

I have emailed Rich regarding my frustration for the lack of support for modems in HSP for those of us who do not live in the United States.

Rich suggested that W2C might be one solution to try.

I very much doubt, given that W2C seems to be targeting a US audience, that its CID function will work on Australian phone system.

However, I have come up with an idea, and would like to ask everyone's opinion whether this would work?

Can I have the W2C and a second modem connected to the same phone line? The second modem, which is locally produced, does recognise Australian CID.

My idea would be that I use the second modem to detect CID, and only when certain conditions are met, the W2C answers the calls in record mode.

In other words, I would like to use the W2C jsut as an answering machine.

Can this be done via scripting?

    many thanks
