Address book special announcement

I get no announcement at all and the recording ends immediately, if I choose the "special announcement for this caller" in the address book Caller ID option.

If I don't select this option, the general greeting will be played and the message is recorded. I tried to test the announcement via the play button, but no sound came out of the sound card (maybe there is a way to test it over the phone?)

I am using Way2call and HSPhone 2.0.146. Thanks for your help,

Would you happen to have a "modem.log" file that covers the same time period as the shellbug log you posted? Way2Call cannot find an issue with the shellbug log, but I can tell them where the problem is if I have the modem.log.

After looking some more into the problem I found that the special announcement will be played over the phone if the box "Announce this caller" is not checked. Otherwise, the general greeting is played. Here is the modem log for both situations (first time the caller was announced via speakers, but no special greeting, the second time "Announce this caller" was unchecked). Thanks, picta
