    Searching for Way2Call modem

Does anyone have a Way2Call Hi-Phone USB modem they would be willing to sell?

They used to be available on eBay. Non-existent now and the official website is trying to charge $700+

It used to be $300ish and seems ridiculous.

I’m moving into an old house wired with landlines and would like to use them with several software applications I use. Thanks in advance!

I would set up a search on Ebay to inform you when one becomes available. I have a search set up and I get an email every once in awhile that one is out there... though it looks like the last one I got was in January for $199. I only use mine for caller ID and would probably sell it if there was a supported HS4 CID alternative I could use. Unfortunately there isn't.

An alternative I use is a cheap Conexant USB voice modem and UltraCID3 plug in. Has worked perfect for years. The PI may be unsupported at this point but still works fine for what I need it for devices, events, logs, etc.

I will give you mine as I could not get it to work with the updated windows versions. Been a few years since I tried.
If your willing to pay for the shipping!

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm trying to purchase the modem you have suggested but I can not find the modem you have described, can you please give me the link or the model number, thanks.

sorry, the Conexant was in my head as my Windows device manager recognized it as Conexant USB CX93010 ACF Modem. I actually have a Zoom 56K USB modem. I have had it for quite a while with Ultra's PI.

The actual hardware is listed below at Amazon although I don't think I spent $80 on it years ago. My memory ain't so good as it used too be
